atorionsbelt:

it’s still so funny to me how phil dunster’s thought process on royjamie in a single interview went from “they should be together” / “i love the fanfiction,” to “roy is a paternal figure in his life,” and eventually all the way to “it’s a familial intimacy” / “mine and brett’s intimacy is far more sexually charged but we turned it into something far more platonic on screen.”

he acknowledges that the written character dynamic between roy and jamie was intended to be one of friendly protective mentorship. but then is basically like: well it could’ve easily been portrayed as romantic and carnal between us and we’re down but we held back because no one wanted to see that!

i fear what his version of not toning it down looks like.

me when i’m an actor who passionately endorses the gay shipping of my own character with his repressed narrative foil onscreen and am not afraid to say it

this was a great read. “Laziness Does Not Exist” by Devon Price

[image description: a quote. “If a person can’t get out of bed, something is making them exhausted. If a student isn’t writing papers, there’s some aspect of the assignment that they can’t do without help. If an employee misses deadlines constantly, something is making organization and deadline-meeting difficult. Even if a person is actively choosing to self-sabotage, there’s a reason for it - some fear they’re working through, some need not being met, a lack of self-esteem being expressed.
People do not choose to fail or disappoint. No one wants to feel incapable, apathetic, or ineffective. If you look at a person’s action (or inaction) and see only laziness, you are missing key details. There is always an explanation. There are always barriers. Just because you can’t see them, or don’t view them as legitimate, doesn’t mean they’re not there. Look harder.” /end ID]

Oh. I get it. Feeling a good thing. You got your hopes up. So I’m here to save you some time. Eventually….that all just goes away.

I can’t believe that even after they got in a fistfight and keeley kicked them both out of her house, roy and jamie still were like… let’s go grab a kebab

they literally can never be away from each other ever again. they’ve imprinted.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - this proves why the OT3 is perfect, because when keeley wants to be alone, they can just spend time with each other because they both seem to be incapable of being left by themselves
